Blister Carding is a process in which a plastic blister (usually PVC) has a product placed in it and then the blister is adhered to a blister card by the use of heat and pressure. Blister Cards are the primary packaging choice for major retailers. Blister Carding continues to grow as a packaging option because it provides product exposure, safety and promotion.
Skin Sheeting Packaging is an alternative to blister carding. Skin sheeting is a process where a flexible film is heated then drawn down on your product and vacuumed sealed to a printed card. Skin sheets offer the advantage for new product packaging by eliminating a portion of start up tooling costs.
Hand assembly - Our large skilled workforce is experienced at many different types of hand construction and assembly. This includes hand gluing of oversized folding cartons, corrugated boxes and displays, as well as simple assembly of plastic components. For consumer packaging applications, we offer ancilliary operations such as application of labels, bows, ribbons, velvet cords with grommets, etc.
Hand filling - Selection and placement of products into consumer packaging CRL is experienced in products ranging from the simple (colored tissue paper and a single standard product) to the complex (25-50 polybagged and color coded subassemblies each consisting of multiple distinct pieces.) We have extensive specific experience with cosmetic gift baskets/sets, DVD, packaging, and educational kits.
Inspection/Rework/Repack - Manual sorting and rework of new or returned product in keeping with customer specified standards, may include application of new labels.
