CRL has the ability to receive customer orders via phone, fax, mail or the Internet. Orders are entered into the system, packing slips are produced, orders are picked, packed,shipped and inventory is updated automatically. CRL provides same day processing as well as batch processing when requested.
We offer Cross Docking for faster inventory turns and reduced distribution costs, as well as Direct Store Door (DSD) and Direct Store to Distribution Center (DSDC) delivery options for reduced cycle time and customized delivery practices that reduce costs at the store level and expedite product onto store shelves.
We have systems capabilities to handle all methods of LIFO and FIFO rotation by production code, lot code, or expiration date. Our systems can handle recall and other lot tracking requirements in minimal time.
CRL handles the seasonal demands and other requirements of companies shipping to retail. We are familiar with the routing guides and other Vendor Compliance Requirements & Standards of all major retailers.
While the true advantage is realized by using CRL's order processing service, forwarding services are also available. International providers of customized items can ship products to CRL in bulk. CRL will then breakdown the shipments and distribute the products using domestic rates and transit times.
